PETER & PATRIK JABLONSKI, pianists

Peter & Patrik Jablonski, pianists, born in Sweden, have - beside their fantastic solo careers - also performed as a piano duo in many of the major musical centres of the world over the last 15 years, receiving many glowing reviews for their technical brilliance and artistry.

It is not unusual that brothers and sisters within the 4- hand repertoire are often highly successful, if one thinks of the precision and empathy which such repertoire demands.

Peter and Patrik have recorded critically acclaimed discs of piano duo music for Altara and perform a wide range of concertos.

I addition to their consummate performances Peter and Patrik also make themselves available for open rehearsals and masterclasses for students at all venues if that can be organised. Education is a vitally important part of their performing life.

Peter & Patrik Jablonski are mentioned as being two of the most famous Scandinavians.

Ronald Bruce Meyer 'The Voice Man' says the following in his article 'Tour Scandinavia' :

“Celebrated Swedes include diplomat Raoul Wallenberg,
, prime minister Olof Palme, mystic philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg, biologist Carl von Linné (Linnaeus), chemist Wilhelm von Scheele, who discovered oxygen, chlorine and manganese, Alfred Nobel, who invented dynamite and endowed the annual prizes bearing his name, dramatist August Strindberg, actress Greta Garbo, film director Ingmar Bergman, operatic soprano Birgit Nilsson, the pop artists ABBA, pianists Peter and Patrik Jablonski, and actor Max von Sydow”

Mozart: Music for Piano Duet, June 10, 2007
Mozart: Music for Piano Duet~ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart showcases some of the best piano playing that I have heard in quite a while. Peter & Patrik Jablonski are very talented pianist and listening to them is truly a sublime experience. Mozart himself would have been pleased. As for the pieces themselves, well how does one define true genius? Mozart was and is one of the best composers and listening to these compositions one true realizes that this kind of genius must have a touch of providence for it to have fully worked. The book-let is very well done and the short essay written by Paul Myers is informative and educational without being long winded or stuffy. The photo on the cover and they both look very distinguished and have dressed in the right way for this kind of recording. Highly recommend recording and I easily give it 5 stars.
